    August?!

    Updated: Oct 10, 2019

Well July came and went and its August. This summer has flown by! I love summer but I am starting to look forward to Fall and cooler temps. Anyway, I thought I would make a quick little post of what I've been working on and what I've finished.

I've tested 3 designs and have one in progress.

First up the Knit Marigold Skirt by Morthunder. Morgan is the spunkiest, and I love it.

Anyone can make this and should make this. Its a nice meditative knit and pairs well with many of her other designs like the Steffy Headband that I'm wearing. I also paired it with a yellow version of my design The Phoenix Cowl.

    Yarn: Lion Brand

    Headband - Wool Ease

    Cowl - Vanna's Choice Mustard

Skirt - Pound of Love Denim

Second Test of July was the Winding Roads Hat by SEKHandmade and its another great knit for all levels. If you have been wanting to learn how to cable this is a fantastic start. It is fairly quick to knit up because of the size 5 yarn and the pattern is easy to understand.

My third test was actually SEKHandmade's Winding Roads Cowl. It's beautiful, simple, and just as great as the hat. The cowl will be released soon - make sure you go get both of these patterns. They are the perfect pair for fall.

    Yarn:

    Hat - Henry Baxter Knits

Cowl - Wool Spun in Claret by Lion Brand

My current test that I am working on is the Southern Pullover by Kay Krochets and its going to be a crochet beauty. I chose Warm & Cozy yarn by Yarn Bee from Hobby Lobby and it is just as it says, warm and cozy. Seriously though its so soft and I really dig it. I can't wait to finish the pullover and share it with you. If you want to see what the full sweater looks like go check out Kayla on Instagram.

Lastly before I go! Market season is quickly approaching so make sure you get your tags and all things branding taken care of before the crazy. I teamed up with Angie and Britt and I have been using their Chicago Labels. They are gorgeous and so easy to apply, you just need a screwdriver. They come in so many different color options as well. Check them out!

    Much love,

    Rin
